Kacey Musgraves Performs As Ronnie Dunn In Nashville Honky-Tonk Prank
Kacey Musgraves surprised crowds at Robert’s Western World by dressing as Brooks & Dunn’s Ronnie Dunn and performing “Neon Moon” in downtown Nashville.
Her elaborate costume included facial hair, sunglasses and a “COWBOY” forearm tattoo, making her nearly unrecognizable until she sang.
Dunn responded positively on social media, commenting “Damn, I look good!” under multiple posts of the performance. He and Brooks & Dunn shared videos to their Instagram Stories.
The stunt appears tied to promoting Musgraves’ upcoming album Middle of Nowhere.
Musgraves added “Btw Ronnie did nothing to deserve this” in comments.
Celebrities including Megan Moroney, Jake Owen and Kimberly Williams-Paisley praised the prank.
Musgraves previously recorded “Neon Moon” with Brooks & Dunn for their 2019 Reboot album.
